Over the past few years at University my portfolio website has been through numerous designs as I like to keep it up to date with my current design interest and development skills. I use my portfolio site as an excuse to learn new skills and technologies.

My latest redesign came from a desire to learn to use Jekyll as in the past I had gotten tired from having to copy and paste the same code across pages on old portfolio sites. The design itself is inspired by various print publications with a focus on large type and bold colours. I also wanted to attempt moving away from the usual fixed width container and work around the full width of the screen.
